Melissa Gorga Admits She’s Happy to Be Feuding With Teresa Giudice
Melissa Gorga is glad that she’s permanently estranged from her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice. Melissa revealed that she was happy to be on the outs with her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star during an appearance at the premiere of “Anyone But You” Monday night.
Melissa, the wife of Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, cosigned her on-screen nemesis, who previously stated that she had no interest in a reconciliation.
“The feeling is mutual,” she told Page Six at Monday’s premiere.
Joe chimed in — “I mean, whatever she wants. It’s her wish.”
Melissa hinted that RHONJ Season 14 will be “very different,” likely due to her ongoing standoff with Teresa.
“It was a very different season … all the friendships are different, it’s just very, very different,” she said. “I actually enjoyed this season a lot.”
Last month, Teresa was booed by a BravoCon audience after dismissing the idea of reconciling with her brother amid the family’s bitter feud.
The mom of four said during a panel discussion — “First of all, I’m living this journey and I’m all about family and respect and trust.”
She added — “Sorry. That chapter’s closed with my brother, unfortunately. It really is.”
Teresa’s remarks came after she slammed her brother’s wife for allegedly spreading a rumor alleging that her now-husband, Luis Ruelas, had pursued a romance with “Real Housewives of Miami” star, Alexia Nepola, before they met.
Melissa and Teresa’s rocky relationship seemingly landed in a stalemate after enduring a bumpy Season 13. The pair fell out after Teresa allegedly spread a rumor accusing Melissa of cheating on her husband. The subsequent blowout fight led to the Gorgas ditching Teresa and Luis’ August 2022 wedding.
The tension carried over to the Season 13 reunion series, during which Teresa accused the couple of dragging her “through the mud for 10 years.” She also referred to her sister-in-law as a “gaslighting bitch.”
In June, Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice, accused the couple of reporting him to the FBI, which eventually landed the since-divorced couple behind bars. Joe was deported to Italy upon his release.
“When they came on the show, they were very good friends with my ex-partner’s attorneys, which went to the feds, which I think Melissa and Joe were involved,” Joe said during an appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope” podcast.
The RHONJ Season 14 premiere date has yet to be announced.
